EXPERIENCE

• 2007 Production Manager for two short silent films set in early 1900s Goole. I managed a two week shoot sourcing period locations, props, costume, make-up and equipment on a very small budget. Additionally I held workshops for teaching young people how to produce films.


• 2007 2nd Assistant Director on short film “For King and Country” made at Lime Pictures with “Hollyoaks” cast and crew.
  


• 2007 Runner for Lime Pictures’ “Hollyoaks” programme which is broadcast on Channel 4.


• 2007 Production Assistant on a short educational film at Harewood House for independent film company Duchy Parade Films. Here I organised and managed over thirty under 15 year olds through period costume and make-up. Dealing with any problems if and when they occurred.


• 2006 On-Set Producer for pilot sketch show ‘Best Served Chilled’. Overlooking the production process once filming commenced and making sure everything ran smoothly through a month long shoot.


• 2006 Wrote and Produced two short films back to back: “Nightshift” and “Bound By Blood”, sourcing professional actors, an extensive crew including professional make-up, lighting and fight choreographers without a budget. Both are currently being entered into film festivals.


• 2006 Wrote, Produced, Directed and Edited a film trailer for an original feature film idea “Designated Target”. Currently have interest in the full length feature.


• 2006 Assistant Producer for independent film company Duchy Parade Film’s period graphic novel “The Last Coiner”. As well as managing a 40+ cast through extensive costume and make-up I also sourced actors, locations, props and equipment.


• 2006 Produced and Directed an informative video about young people learning at Selby College for presentations shown to a board of leading educational governors. Paid at an hourly rate.


• 2005 Working as a BBC Blast Reporter at BBC Radio York. I Directed short films, wrote articles and conducted interviews for the web and the radio on a work experience basis. I continue to contribute for the North Yorkshire website.


• 2005 Produced and Directed a short film written by BAFTA Award winning script writer Roger Davison entitled “End of the Line”, which was entered into a number of short film festivals.


• 2005 Co-Wrote and Directed a pilot tutorial video for Yorkshire Forward. Engaged as Camera Operator on final video for online IT help


• 2005 Edited a promotional video for use with promoting Selby College’s Media Department at schools around the region.


• 2004 Wrote, Produced and Directed an episode of “SHAFT”, a half hour live multi-camera magazine show broadcast to the entire college.


• 2004 Produced and Directed a music video for band Sixty6.


• 2003 Wrote, Produced, Directed and Edited a pilot episode for an English sit-com series after successfully pitching the idea to an ex-BBC Commissioning Editor. Additionally compiling a full first series bible.
